Well, with most people waiting a month for their pre-ordered iPhone 6 Plus to arrive, we'd say that people are buying big phones, or that supply is severely limited.
We couldn't wait a month, so we sent our teardown crew to Melbourne, Australia to be the first in line to get the 6 Plus.
