Samsung Galaxy Alpha White details
Beauty, build quality and brawn come together in the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. With a deluxe metal build, super-slim dimensions and a compact shell, you'd be hard pushed to find a better-looking, sleeker smartphone. But it's still got room enough for 12-megapixel camera, loads of power and a 4.7-inch SuperAMOLED HD screen.
Think the HTC One range and the iPhone have the edge over Samsung in the looks stakes? Think again. The Galaxy Alpha teams a tiny 7mm-thin frame with a gorgeous soft back cover and chic curves for a handset you'll never stop wanting to show off. And the robust metal frame means it's tough and feels satisfyingly weighty.
Of course, as with most Galaxy efforts, this is a great camera phone too. The on board 12-megapixel camera means even novices can expect to take some excellent snaps. And for more experienced photographers, there are panorama and selective focus modes, as well as High Dynamic Range. Want to grab a selfie? That's what the on board 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera is for.
Want a phone that's got superfast internet too? That's the Galaxy Alpha, which is 4G LTE compatible for speedy browsing. Plus you'll get some excellent exclusive Samsung features: not least the Ultra Power Saving mode that helps you eke out your battery life when you really, really need to be reached. Just as handy is the Private Mode, which keeps sensitive information away from prying eyes. Then there's the Download Booster that speeds up downloads, so you can get hands on apps, games and movies that much faster.
Other notable features of the Galaxy Alpha include the latest KitKat version of Android, an octa-core processor, a huge array of apps to choose from, 32GB of internal storage and Dropbox storage of up to 50GB.
