OS X 10:10 Yosemite - Window Resizing with a Double Click on the Title Bar

Above - in Italian

In the beta of OS X 10:10 Yosemite is a small but useful new feature: double-clicking on the title bar of a window that is automatically adjusted in width and height; the option is convenient in many occasion and corresponds to click on the "+" button in the upper left corner while holding down the CTRL key.

In Yosemite for the buttons red, yellow and green in the upper left corner of the windows, Apple has updated not only the look, but also the function: close, contract and larger now become close, contract and full-screen, eliminating the button separate full-screen and bringing together the window controls. Pressing the Alt key control on the green button activates the classical mode of previous versions of OS X.

The ability to resize the window on the fly with a double-click on the title bar is valid provided that the user has selected the option "To contract a window, double-click the title bar" in the Dock Preferences the system. We do not know if the new option will be active or not in the final version of the operating system.
