" Racing champion Black Caviar produces baby girl
The most anticipated foal of the season has arrived in the Hunter Valley with unbeaten World champion mare Black Caviar having a Exceed And Excel filly on Saturday morning.
It is believed she will retained by the owners despite a mulit-million dollar price tag. Peter Moody tweeted the early Saturday morning.
Black Caviar raced 25 times, never meeting with defeat, winning 15 group 1, including the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot in 2012.
She won three Lightning Stakes, a race which now carries her name, two VRC Classics, two William Reid Stakes and two TJ Smiths, which was her farewell to the racetrack in 2013.
Her brother All Too Hard also proved a champion on the track and his first foals are hitting the ground this season."
